07:58 AM ET 02.20 | For as much talk as there is involving Percy Harvin, the mercurial wide receiver isn't talking. Harvin, who went to retrieve something from his silver Mercedes, waved off an approaching reporter in the driveway of the former Pro Bowler's Florida home Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 19. Speculation about Harvin's future in Minnesota has been swirling, with the receiver entering the final year of his rookie deal. "I got nothing to say about any of that," Harvin said before retreating into his house and closing the front door. Harvin has not addressed his situation since issuing a statement through the Vikings on Dec. 6 saying he was "disappointed" his Week 9 ankle injury forced him to be placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Why do we keep getting non-stories about guys who have nothing to say?

I, for one, don't have anything to say about that.

Why is a reporter stalking his home and chasing after him in the driveway? Have we really gotten to this point?

If you were a reporter, what would you do? Stalk Harvin in Florida or report on the mid-winter Lutefisk Festival just a couple of hundred miles north of Minneapolis?

Harvin should just leave it at "I got nuthing"

February 20, 2013  12:47 PM ET

If only he had gone to school beyond the fourth grade, he might have "got" to say more than he's saying. And that's saying something. At least, someone said that.

Sorry. I was always more of a Buddy Hackett guy myself. :)

The mother of all non-stories. Replying in this thread just encourages the media to continue to produce this crap, and the FN interns to reproduce it.

Anyway, I'm happy to do my part by responding
