Stoudemire growing restless

08:03 AM ET 02.20 | For now, the plan remains to keep Amar'e Stoudemire in a bench role, but might that change? It's a role Stoudemire has been relegated to since returning to action on Jan. 1 after missing the first 30 games with a knee injury that surfaced during training camp. Stoudemire hasn't complained about his reserve role. He has said repeatedly he'll do whatever it takes for the team to win. He also had no leverage to complain after missing more than a third of the season. But maybe he's getting a little restless. When asked about his reserve role yesterday, Stoudemire simply said it was Woodson's call. "That's the coach's decision," he said. "That has nothing to do with me. I feel great. I'm ready to play. But it's a coach's decision.

NY Post really loves stirring things up. The bad Apple will jump all over this. It's sad because if you're a fan of a team you shouldn't be so bias on your own players. He acts like Stat plays for the Heat or the Cs.

For once I think the Post is right on this. Coach's decision to keep STAT on Brewer on the bench is ludacris. He must have gotten some advice from Isaiah... wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you seen this robotic fool Stat lately? Sounds like you've missed the last several Knicks games if you're calling for more time for Stat. Please stop right there! Apple!

I am not asking that STAT gets more minutes or starts. All I'm saying is get Shump or Kidd out of the starting line up... Every coach makes a mistake that costs him his job and I think this bonehead decision of Woody to keep Shump in there is the beginning of his end..

When players get older or injured they may need to adapt to their situation. Amare hasn't really done that. He was always a terrible defender and never seemed interested in anything but scoring (usually on easy dunks assisted by Nash). He isn't explosive anymore...so he needs or needed to adapt to the fact that he isn't half the athlete he once was. But until he comes to terms with that and changes he will always be a liability on the floor. He should of been more receptive to the criticisms of his defensive abilities and worked on it. Now he's almost (if not there already) at the point of being unmovable and unplayable.
