Baconfest tickets go on sale Wednesday

Limber up your fingers and clear some space on your credit card; Baconfest Chicago 2013 is coming.

The event itself will take place on April 20 in the UIC Forum, but general-admission tickets will go on sale at noon CST Wednesday. If sales go as they have in previous years, your window of opportunity will be very, very small. As in a couple of hours, maybe less.

Exactly. Don't mind him clem. This is a Yankees fan that 'secretly roots for the Cubs'. He ain't right. Plus his team will have a hard time signing Cano and owes a ton of money to its existing players. They will not be signing Price.

what makes you so sure of that? Hal probably will spend the money if he thinks it is necessary. And for a pitcher like Price if he thought he could get him by spreading a little of the YES money around I believe he woud think it necessary.
As for your silly so-called slight about the Cubs: Better a Cubs fan then rooting for the lame pale hose.

The Yankees have money. If they have a shot at getting a pitcher like Price, they'll pull the trigger 189 million payroll be damned.

I would hate to see him go. But it is the cycle of the way the Rays do business. They have great arms in the wings. So we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out.

The downside is they drafted most of these great arms when they were bad. As the these stars leave the supply of new stars is waning. Even with all the success they can't fill the stadium, and they haven't won anything.
