12:15 PM ET 02.20 | The Miami Dolphins want a play-making wide receiver to accompany second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill next season. Is Mike Wallace that guy? The Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly writes that the Dolphins are willing to spend to get their playmaker and they could be setting their sights on the dangerous Wallace. Wallace, 26, has been a consistent threat since entering the league in 2009. In his four seasons, Wallace has caught 235 passes for 4,042 yards and 32 touchdowns.

I don't see why they want to shoot him.

Great GMing in Miami. Got rid of a guy for a song who had a career year in Chicago and now they want a guy who overvalues himself. Way to go, Fish!

Good luck, you will need it. This guy only runs maybe three routes. Doesnt block plus half the time drops the ball when he actually does break free on one of those three routes he knows.

He's more apt 2 come up here if we dont resign Wes. He'll think he's the #1 WR.

As long as they know what they're getting, they could probably get a couple of good years out of him. He's as selfish as they come, holding out when the team was installing a new offense, showing up out of shape and behind on the playbook.
He's whiny if the ball doesn't come his way often enough. Whiny if the ball comes his way too often and teams start teeing off on him...
He's fast. That's it. This was supposed to be the year he took a big step forward, proved all the naysayers wrong with improved routes and better hands. Instead he decided to skip preseason and satisfy himself with 800 yards and 8 TDs. He has a killer case of stiff hands if he doesn't get enough reps with the QB,

Wow, it's not often one can say "perfect" and "Jets" in the same sentence regardless of context.
