05:32 PM ET 02.20 | Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith is one of the top trade targets as we approach the trade deadline. With Smith receiving a lot of attention, Atlanta GM Danny Ferry is sorting through the offers and making sure that he takes the best available packages if he decides to move his star player. One of the teams hoping to land Smith is the Brooklyn Nets, who have one of the better offers on the table. Brooklyn is reportedly hoping that a package of forward Kris Humphries, guard MarShon Brooks and a first-round pick would be enough to lure Smith from the Hawks. To make things more interesting, the Hawks could be willing to give Smith the five year, $90 million extension that he is seeking. We will just have to wait and see if the Hawks accept the Nets' offer.
