This would matter if CFB allowed early signing of LOI's.

None of that will matter if the kid chooses UVA. He will toil in obscurity, with ZERO chance of winning ANY kind of title.

Good luck, kid. Choose wisely.

Who?

There is always new meat on the table, but every day there seems to be an article on this site about the "next best player" still in high school. This is getting ridiculous. He's what, 17 years old?

Social media + commercial recruiting services = more BS than ever before. I'm not saying the kid's not good but really all this focus on 16-17 year olds is getting ridiculous.

Agreed. NO teenager should be holding a freakin' press conference, unless they've cured cancer or brought peace to the Middle East.

Tell us how you really feel, Doc.

Perhaps, but there's always that whole "education" thing.

Wow - it's even worse than I thought!

US News Rankings of Colleges: Virginia 24, FSU 97

Forbes Rankings of Colleges: Virginia 47, FSU... wait for it... 274!

What will come first, Non SEC school winning a NC in football, curing cancer or peace in the Middle East?

And if this young man were picking colleges based on academics, I would have to agree with you. Virginia is a top-notch school, with regards to academics...However, FNG, what do suppose the odds are that this young man is making this decision based on academics? LMFAO!

This is a CFB thread, and when it comes to football, Virginia sucks out loud. Try again...

I play with him personally at Bayside and he does have the talent to play at the next level and maybe even farther.

I mean UVA just signed another teammate from the same team as him and he was considered the second best (RB) in the nation.....as This 17 year old as you refer to is the best highschool safety in the nation .....like i said i play high school ball with him and he's no joke......also have you ever herd of someone name EJ Mannuel from FSU which also came from bayside.....bayside has this great generation of the top skills players in the nation....we have a pipeline to UVA....Bayside is Nationallly ranked
