06:13 PM ET 02.20 | The Minnesota Timberwolves have been looking to pull the trigger on a trade but nothing has really come up. The Utah Jazz have reportedly been in contact with the Wolves about trading Paul Millsap, with the Timberwolves apparently starting the discussion and the Jazz willing to listen. According to mulptile sources, the Jazz continue to bring up Derrick Williams' name in trade discussions with the Wolves and Minnesota has made it clear they'd be willing to part with him at the right price. Williams' name came up in trade discussions for J.J. Redick but the Wolves weren't comfortable parting ways with Williams and a first-round draft pick to land Redick. But for Millsap, the Wolves may be willing to entertain the idea of giving up some assets to bring in a guy that can instantly make them better without Kevin Love in the lineup. The Timberwolves are searching for some wing help via trade and so far have come up empty. Earlier today general manager David Kahn didn't sound very confident when asked if he felt the Wolves would find a trade before the deadline.

These teams are giving up on the young talent fast. They have been looking for a SG for a long time. The best they could do in a few years was Roy and he is hurt. They tried to give Batum top dollar and that didn't work.

Wolves have to be patient again but they are a team full of bad luck on injuries and just made some bad draft choices and the normal picks that didn't pan out. Love injured, Roy injured. They are desperate for a SG and may be ready to give up on Williams being the tweener. I wouldn't do it.
