05:55 AM ET 02.21 | This time of year, the cuts are unkind, and they may come to a few big-name players near you. Now let's take a crack at some of the biggest names that could be let go in the NFC. With the salary cap not expected to rise much this year, there are plenty of teams looking to cut dead weight. ... 1. Nnamdi Asomugha, Philadelphia Eagles cornerback: With $4 million of his scheduled $15 million salary guaranteed, the Eagles could try to work out a pay cut to keep Asomugha. More likely: They cut ties after two straight disappointing seasons. 2. Kevin Kolb, Arizona Cardinals quarterback: The Cardinals publicly have said they need to reduce Kolb's deal. He's due more than $11 million and his poor arm strength does not match up well with new coach Bruce Arians' vertical offense.

Nnamdi lost a step. The Eagles complete lack of safeties really exposed him. Too bad he isn't physical enough to make the switch to safety.

No one wants philly trash--- philly are the losers of the NFC East-- if you can't make it with these losers---- you can't make it anywhere===== Send this Rube back to Kenya...

Do you know what a rube is? Also Nnamdi is from Los Angeles. You're schtick is old and worn out. Come up with something new.

Nnamdi was always over-rated. Nothing much more than an average nfl CB that gets burned each game. Way too much money for him.

Hence the reason no one pays him any attention bro.

Nmamdi is overrated and should be cut, he's not worth the money!

#9 - Jay Ratliff, Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle: He's overpaid, underperforming, and just got a DUI.

Goodbye moron.

Whispers that Santana may be out too, if he doesn't take a paycut. That one will sting.

I saw him on that list... You think he will?

If it comes down to taking a pay cut or playing for someone else for even less, he'll take the cut. But, it's up to his agent to earn his fee and find out what he's worth.

I think he'll take a cut. I hope he does. Honestly, Moss could have had another 5 TD's last season, had they thrown him the ball. He was open almost every play. Even with that, he tied his record for most TD's in a season. It almost seemed by design, that they would shy away from him every now and then.

Nnamdi was always a tad overrated, but the change in scheme didn't help him either

That's the downfall of hiring an offensive line coach as the defensive coordinator.

If Arizona can reduce Kolb's salary they'll make him a back up QB otherwise they'll release him!

Lost a step? He is still in his 20's.

Not to mention the repetition in me saying, Moss could be a future HOF if he finished up with a ring with RGIII!

The Vikings could sign him as a FA.
