Aaron Murray is a glutton for punishment

06:08 AM ET 02.21 | Aaron Murray woke up on the morning of Dec. 2 willing to watch it unfold all over again. "The next day I came over and watched the film," said Georgia's quarterback recalling, painfully, the previous day's loss to Alabama in the SEC championship game. "I didn't want to, but I forced myself." Since then, Murray estimates he's seen the film 100 times -- the game film of Bama's thrilling (at least to some) 32-28 victory in that title game. That's 100 times experiencing that same result. That's 100 times trying to figure out what went wrong. That's 100 times going numb all over again. "I beat myself up," he said. "He's always done that," offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said.

May you have an "off" day against the Vols, Aaron (though "off" days don't seem likely for you in 2013).

What went wrong was Alabama was just a better team. Not by much, but it was better that day.

JK, I agree, the SEC CCG last year was good and very close!! It was one of the best games I watched last year!!! I really like the way Aaron Murray plays the game!!!

what went wrong was fatigue on the dline in the second half.
Bama was better but by a very small margin.

AM is a good kid. He's gonna break a lot of records this year. I just hope he can leave with a SEC champioship. The defense is a big ? and the schedule is a lot harder though.

He'd probably like that, too, but I'll bet he's really hoping he leaves healthy.

Which is what we plan for. The 3 yard runs in the 1st half give way to 7-9 yard runs in the 2nd half and sometimes a few broken long.

that too.....but he seems to have his head on straight. He'll graduate next year with his bachelors and masters degrees. Hopefully healthy, with a championship, and ready for the NFL. I'm not sure how well he'll do 'at the next level'.....but someone will give him a shot. The fringe element of the Dawg nation are actually ready for him to move on and that I do not understand. He's not the best to ever play the game but IMO we cannot ask for a better representative for the school and team.

I understand that. Everyone knows that. Stopping it is the issue.

credit to bama for doing what it takes and having a solid game plan.

Actually if you can get by the first two games against Clemson and South Carolina, then you will have LSU and Florida at home!!! IMO, the rest of the Bulldogs schedule, doesn't seem all that tough!!! :-)

UGA is much more of a finesse (sp?) team. Richt is very good at the skill positions and that's what they concentrate on more than anything. I wish they could get some more big uglies with that finesse and then we'd have something pretty great.....

Again, it is not an SEC issue, it is an NCAA issue!!!

yeah if we can only get by 4 top ten teams in the first half of the season, we're home free! lol

Jacksonville, FL isn't exactly home, but you're right about the schedule. It isn't gonna get Georgia many quality points in the computer rankings.
