06:11 AM ET 02.21 | Brian Burke may yet make his next career move before the end of this shortened season. A source familiar with the situation says Burke is being sought for a scouting position with another club and that Leafs permission has been granted for that team to approach the fired president and general manager, let go just prior to the start of this season. "I think (the Leafs) want to give him that chance to be a general manager again elsewhere," the source told the Toronto Sun. Burke has been around the rink scouting for USA Hockey of late. Under the terms of his departure, he has an advisory role to the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment board of directors, but does not have a say in hockey decisions.

DL, how about AC Milan? Huge upset.

That second goal was sublime. Not so sure about the little dance effort after it though. At least they didn't fall down in a group grope.

I had a buzz the rest of the evening after I watched that game.

Shut me up. Did someone forget to mention to Barca that they had a CL game? And where was that little Argentinian fella?

Just goes to show how much good an organized defence can do for a team.

I read that Milan fans were singing loudly outside his hotel room the night before and he didn't get his beauty rest.

He certainly didn't look better than Ronaldo that's for sure. Cristiano stepped up in his game.

To lose by 1 goal was bad, but to lose by 2? Catastrophic.

I know I have my popcorn ready for the second leg...

I'm hoping AC go thru and Real/Man U get Bayern next round, thus eliminating as many of the "major" teams as early as possible so a small team can squeak through to the final, like Porto maybe..

But yeah, can't wait to see how Barca respond at home. AC need to do what Inter did 3 years ago and park that damn bus.
