04:31 PM ET 02.21 | Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa stated on Thursday morning that he did not suffer a concussion on Tuesday night after being hit in the head by Vancouver Canucks forward Jannik Hansen. Hansen made contact with Hossa's head while the two players were going after a puck that was in mid-air. Hansen contends that he did not intentionally aim for Hossa's head. However, the NHL still suspended Hansen one game for the offense. Hossa believes that Hansen was aiming for his head because of the force with which he swung his arm. Hossa does not believe that person swatting at a puck would swing as hard as Hansen did.

Good.

Hansen is still out tonight, though. Very good indeed.

Pfff! One game! One lousy game!! Hardly enough if the NHL is serious about cleaning this crap from the game.

It deserved something for sure.

One might be enough since he hasn't been on Shanhan's carpet before.

If he keeps up with his chippy play, he may not have to. Somebody will take care of him before he gets another chance.

I thought he might get one or two games. Didn't look like much of a hit to me, cheap as hell for sure, but...................................

If Hossa wasn't such a puss, he would have gotten up and beat the bag out of Hansen. Instead he goes all soccer on us and goes down like he was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald.

Absolutely agree with the soccer reference, total puss move. Hossa felt a tap and played it up.
