05:56 AM ET 02.22 | Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun tweeted that Ravens center Matt Birk plans to retire after winning a Super Bowl in his 15th NFL season: Source confirms that matt birk is definitely retiring in the morning
He should've danced around all through the playoffs like the other clown who was retiring. I guess there was only room for 1 in that spot light... and he didn't want to get stabbed for trying to get some of the attention.
Undersized and underrated but played every down like it's his last. Also a great person in the community. Wished him nothing but the best. I hope Gino Gradkowski has learned a lot from him.

Funny! Speaking of clowns and dancing around, that's basically what the Niners were doing in the Superbowl and now they are all still bitter after a month???
He was getting long in the tooth. I was really worried about him this season after he got dominated by Wilfork the prior year. But he played better this year. He's a good guy who knew when it was time to go.

Mmm, those tears are still flowing and still delicious.

Ivy League grad. Didn't need to play because of that, but did for the love of the game. I wish him well.

I can see that. But I was thinking "When did Lloyd Bridges play in the NFL?"
