06:14 AM ET 02.22 | Knicks GM Glen Grunwald's work is done. But are the Knicks done, too? Grunwald said he has built a team with a chance to break the club's 40-year championship drought despite evidence to the contrary amid its recent doldrums. Grunwald did his final minor tinkering Thursday to the league's oldest roster, adding another ancient piece and another former Nugget in signing as big-man insurance 35-year-old Kenyon Martin.

Nah.. we're not winning it all. Not this season to say the least. The coach is not smart enough to use the talent that we have efficiently.
It's over man... let's start hoping for another coach.

I have to agree with everything you said here. No the Knicks will not win a title this season. They do have the veterans but the team as a whole is a little long in the tooth. However, that isn't Mike Woodson's problem. He's done a fine job since replacing D'Antoni so I have no idea why a few guys here want to replace him.
Patience.

Yes.. he did a great job of motivating the players to play hard. He also had a good mix of starters and a great rotation to get the best out of his players and WIN games...
THAT WAS THEN...
What has he done lately? Altered the starting line up; shipped off glue guy Ronnie, planted STAT and now team chemistry is gone, the bench is not productive...
He has since become cocky sticking with Shumpert when it's clear to everyone he's not ready for primetime. Kidd is finally showing he's 100 years old..
A wise coach will retool with line up changes to keep winning. Instead he's stuck with what's not working... bring that shumper and JKidd back court to Toronto and we'll get smackd in the face.
This is it man...

No, not really... The Knicks are better than the Bobcats, but not good enough to take it all...

Sure they can...
If LeBron gets hurt, and New Jersey implodes, and Indiana's arena caves in on the team, and during the NBA Finals, the Thunder/Spurs/Clippers team plane crashes.

New York fans show that they are knowledgeable. The Ronnie Brewer trade was terrible. He'll never be marque or a great jump shooter but the guy can play. The Knicks recent downturn is in part due to his lack of PT. With his size and defensive acumen the Knicks were able to mix and match defensive assignment before. Not so much anymore. They aren't able to hide Kidd or Melo as much.
Ronnie should be playing for the Knicks about 20 to 25mins per game. An old Sloan disciple always knows the ins and outs of real hoops.
