07:58 AM ET 02.22 | This time, Marian Hossa remembered everything. In the aftermath of the hit he took from the Coyotes' Raffi Torres last April, the Blackhawks winger didn't recall what happened as he was taken off on a stretcher, checked by doctors in the dressing room and immediately transported to the hospital. On Tuesday night, as he slowly got to his knees and was helped to the dressing room where doctors attended to him after he received a forearm to the back of the head from the Canucks' Jannik Hansen, Hossa was aware of his surroundings. That was his first indicator that he had not suffered a serious injury. Hossa had concussion protocol tests Thursday morning and will have further tests Friday before it's decided whether he will play against the Sharks later that night at the United Center.

Well, to be fair, it's not like he's exactly risking his health against the Sharks.

But if he's hurt enough and soft enough Jumbo Joe might challenge him.

Especially if they believe they're in the playoffs.

Maybe Marian could get a cool nickname like the "The Duke" or more appropriately "The Duck."

Good news for Hossa. Bad news for the rest of the teams in the NHL. :)

That's if he can remember what it was that he was doing before getting that elbow to his noggin.

He was weaving some magic for the Hawks. That's the best I've seen him play.

Filthy hit. He led with his knee!!!!

I will be interested to see how the Shanny-Bo-Banny interprets this, and I am not sure if people will agree with my interpretation.
I see him leading with his hip. Knee on knee action happened as a result. Unfortunate, but not sure intentional. Hall is not a dirty player, but if a suspension comes, so be it. Should have been a little more careful, I suppose.

Right or wrong, it was only a matter of time before Clutterbuck got a taste of his own medicine. He's been running around, throwing his weight around, hurting guys with borderline hits for a long time.

Boy, when your knee gets hit it feels like it's a piece of wood. But I didn't see a knee on knee or Hall might have been hurt some too.

I don't know. Looks like he was going for a hip check and Cal was watching where he kicked the puck rather than where he was going.
Nobody expects…

I agree. Call it a late hit, call it what you want but, he's not leading with his knee. Hip all the way. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Maybe Clutterbuck will be a little more appreciative of other player's health after this.
