02:45 PM ET 02.22 | The Iowa Hawkeyes hired Chris White to take over as running backs coach and special teams coordinator, replacing Lester Erb, who left the team last week. White was previously an assistant special teams coach with the Minnesota Vikings, and he had been with the team since 2009. Before his time in Minnesota, he spent nine seasons with Syracuse, serving at various times as wide receivers, tight ends and special teams coach. In addition to his role coaching running backs and special teams players, White will take his recruiting prowess to Iowa, specifically, pulling players from the mid-Atlantic region.
