04:09 PM ET 02.22 | It was reported a few weeks ago that the Miami Dolphins weren't all that interested in re-signing running back Reggie Bush. However, after realizing what the rest of the world noticed -- that Miami has no running back depth whatsoever -- the Dolphins are changing their tune and the Miami Herald is reporting that Bush and the Dolphins have met with one another to discuss a deal that would keep him in Miami. If the Dolphins allowed Bush to walk this offseason, they'd have a running back tandem of Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas, which is something that excites absolutely no one. However, Miami apparently would like to work Miller into the offense a bit more, which means if Bush comes back, he's going to have to share his role. Bush is getting to the point in his career though where he's ultimately going to have to split carries with a younger running back. He's still possesses the ability to return kicks, which will likely make him valuable well into his 30s, but his life as a running back isn't what it used to be, which means Bush might end up chasing the money more than he'd be chasing the role.
