Mark Cuban: Kobe Bryant amnesty comment was 'hypothetical'

If lakers miss playoffs this is a possibility.Unless they can restructure his contract which I'm not sure would be allowed. Dwight might have final say in this!!Can tell lakers either amnesty Kobe or I'm going to Dallas!! Kobe's fate could be in Dwight's hands!! Ha ha

The Lakers would never use "their amnesty provision on Kobe Bryant"!!! Kobe will retire a Laker and his jersey will hang from the rafters like many other great Lakers!!!

Mark Cuban is absolutely and 100% right with his hypothetical analogy of Kobe's contract and the ramifications of what it does to the Lakers. First Kobe is old and has lost many steps and he is still inherently consumed with self absorbed egotistical self. I mean any reasonable ownership and gm should at the very least consider such a move, particularly if Howard elect to walk after this season. It then becomes rebuilding time and Kobe's 30 mil, if relieved off, certainly represents some well deserved cap space in order to rebuild.
