09:36 AM ET 02.23 | Vikings general manager Rick Spielman says he wants to "spend a lot of time" with Manti Te'o at the NFL Scouting Combine. Bears GM Phil Emery has hinted that he'll talk to Te'o. Giants GM Jerry Reese has said the same thing. But for a few minutes on Saturday, they and just about every other NFL exec in Indianapolis will simply watch. No, Te'o won't be running or bench-pressing; that comes Monday. But he will take questions from reporters for the first time since the startling revelation of his fake girlfriend. Many teams have been evaluating how Te'o has handled his own media firestorm. And while media savvy isn't nearly as important as speed or strength, it is an underrated component.

He's going to get a rude awakening in the NFL. The Bama game showed just how overrated he is as a player. He should have NEVER won any of those awards over Clowney.

I'm not going to put him down for the fake girlfriend. Being duped is excusable. But his character comes into question when he started to lie about it. And the quality of his education at Notre Dame is questioned when he didn't have a clue after that long a period.
His ability comes into question when you see him up against Alabama. He should be embarrassed about that a lot more than the fake girlfriend.
I don't want to hear one word from anyone about how his troubles with his fake girlfriend influenced his play. I'm sure that he sat back waiting for the snap and thought "gee...how can I possibly play well because she was fake?" Give me a break...that never once entered his mind once Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon started running over him all night long.
Just like the Oklahoma State tragedy. A truly tragic time when the ladies volleyball team all died like they did. But there is no freaking way in hell that had anything to do with the play of the football team against Iowa State. I'm sure they all sat in the huddle and discussed how upset they were and couldn't go on. Sheesh...man up and admit when you get your ass kicked.
This is not to take away from the true tragedy that took place and I hope I didn't trivialize it in any way.

I've been thinking the same. Even the dude that was supposedly playing the fake girlfriend role said he still loves and cares about T'eo. Said that publicly. T'eo just needs to admit it and move on.
