09:51 AM ET 02.23 | While it may be a stretch to say defenseman John-Michael Liles is on borrowed time with the Maple Leafs, it's not out of the realm of possibility. We're not suggesting Liles, who has an annual salary cap hit of $3.875-million US through the 2015-16 season, has played his last game as a Leaf. But he has been a healthy scratch for three consecutive games and could be out again on Saturday night in Ottawa against the Senators. Jake Gardiner won't be with the Toronto Marlies forever, and Morgan Rielly, another slick young defenseman, will be given every chance to make the Leafs out of training camp next September. Leafs coach Randy Carlyle prefers big, physical defensemen. Liles is neither. G

No problem Otis. You've probably needed some help since the Nux game. ;-)

John-Michael Liles in limbo with Leafs?

And on January 25, 2012, some jackass signed Liles to a 4 year contract extension worth $15.5 million.

I wonder what Handy Randy thinks of small, soft wingers?

I'm a realist... the Stars without a healthy Lehtonen are a very average team.

Stars goalies last four games have a 4.55 GAA and .813 save percentage.

Kari Lehtonen this season has 2.12 and .934.

Average might be too kind Otis.

Yep... That's a stunning couple of stats right there...

It also isn't helping that a couple of our defensemen need to get their heads right with puck.

This means YOU, GoGo!!!!!

The Stars are a very average team even with him. It's just that he saves their bacon every other night.
