10:30 AM ET 02.23 | The NCAA's Miami case very likely will be heard in mid-June after the infractions committee agreed to move up the enforcement staff's timetable. An official close with someone on Friday's conference call said nothing else was decided on the call. The NCAA said it would consider the motions by three former assistants to dismiss charges against them, but none know if they have a legitimate chance of success. At least one of the three has been considering a lawsuit.

The NCAA better have a big war chest and a small army of good lawyers at the ready. A tort war as coming.

Not by Miami if they have any sense...that is the dirtiest program in the history of college sports and they want this to just go away. Of course, Shalala is the biggest idiot in college admin, so you just never know.

If only half of the things Shapiro alleges to have happened at Miami are true, you would think that the U would just want it to go away.

So, when do U$C, O$U, Miami, Bama, etc., get together and serve the NCAA with papers citing 'lack of institutional control'?

Miami admitted guilt. It's going to be awfully hard to get past that.
