11:12 AM ET 02.23 | We have all heard about the comeback attempt at a NFL career for former No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell. While Russell has been working hard to get his weight down and his conditioning up to par, it seems that he is setting a date with impressive NFL scouts in mind. According to reports, Russell will be holding a personal Pro Day in April. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is also expected to participate.

About the fifth time they've run this story only worded differently each time. Who the heck cares? This is a non-story to begin with. Now we have to read this garbage 5x. Unreal.

I wish you the best, JaMarcus.

Spare us. You're just trying to weasel your way into being his financial adviser if he manages to sucker another team into giving him a contract.

All I have to say about this is... NO

February 24, 2013  07:50 AM ET

He wants a second chance at becoming The First 400 Pound Quarterback!!!!

February 24, 2013  09:32 AM ET

He looks like Charles Barkley.

February 24, 2013  09:38 AM ET

Good luck JMac but I don't see a multi year multi million dollar contract in your near future. You ate that ship.

February 24, 2013  09:42 AM ET

He's so hood

Why would any team spend one dime on a guy who will sign his contract, get up, dust himself off, yell "SAFE!" and go right back to being a lazy fool? I have a feeling his "pro day" will be attended by a few assistant assistant assistant coaches just in case some miracle has happened. And the only people who are going to appear to care will be the interns here.
