09:02 AM ET 02.24 | ESPN's Buster Olney reported via Twitter that the Rockies have looked into the availability of Rays right-hander Jeff Niemann, and some others. Olney: "The Rockies, searching for starting pitching, have checked in with the Rays about Jeff Niemann and others. No talks advanced, as of yet."

maybe the rockies expect the rays give them a disccount over any players??but the rays appear to have solve any problems in their offense or so it looks like!!!!
