Jason Giambi impressing Indians at age 42

10:28 AM ET 02.24 | Jason Giambi has been impressive in batting practice. The Tribe likes his presence in the clubhouse and ability to mentor young players. They are giving serious thought to keeping the 42-year-old part-time DH. Of course, he has to show he can still connect on a 94-mph fastball. Most older guys can hit breaking balls, but struggle with the hard stuff.

Giambi, Swisher, and some of the other pickups could help the Indians in the clubhouse. If Jimenez and Masterson and Bauer perform well on the mound, the Indians could surprise.

Big if, but certainly possible.

in the earlier spring training games??the indians had been winning by ten runs to one,,but in the ninth inning are given too many runs, should we blame the bullpen??now i know is spring training but comon the team is much better than that!!!!
