07:11 PM ET 02.24 | The New York Giants are not dismissing Manti Te'o in the wake of the linebacker's catfishing saga and are open to drafting him. They will investigate the situation and see what happened, as they look into every detail about every potential draftee, but the end it comes down to whether or not Te'o can cut it on the field. "We're more interested in what kind of football player he is than anything else," Giants general manager Jerry Reese said ... "But we'll investigate it, and we'll see how it goes."

As soon as he enters the Locker room even before he gets dressed he will hear" Hey Manti, You Got a Phone Call"!!!

Think of the upside of having a player with an imaginary girlfriend: no illegitimate children to support; no domestic violence charges; she can't stab you when you're in the shower. It's a PR dream.
The Giants do need an ILB, but not an undersized one. Maybe they could draft an imaginary linebacker: 6'4", 260 lb, runs a 4.3 40.

Since when was 241lb an "undersized" linebacker?
