01:55 PM ET 02.25 | The Oakland Raiders want to restructure Carson Palmer's contract and bring the QB back next season at a reduced price. Palmer is currently set to make $13 million in 2013, but he could take a pay cut similar to the one recently assigned to Michael Vick. Vick was set to cost the Philadelphia Eagles $15.5 million next season, but after re-working his deal, he should cost his team roughly $10 million instead. Palmer is coming off a solid season with the Raiders in which he completed 61.1 percent of his passes for 4,018 yards, 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

$13M? No way that is happening. I think even Palmer knew this would be a likely scenario when he signed his deal.
