02:09 PM ET 02.25 | The Philadelphia Eagles released defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins Monday. Jenkins was a salary cap casualty, and the move will save the Eagles $5.6 million next season. The nine-year veteran out of Central Michigan played two seasons in Philadelphia, totaling 66 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. However, his numbers decreased from 2011 to '12. Two seasons ago, he recorded 40 tackles, six tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, but last season, he finished with 26 tackles, four tackles for loss and four sacks.

I never liked Patterson. They had kept him too long IMO.

And came from a 3-4 defense, and had the ability to stay of the field all 3 downs. Yet Vick is resigned and Nnamdi remains on the roster as of right now. Baffling.
