Brown not thrilled with benching

03:55 PM ET 02.25 | The Phoenix Suns have sunk to the bottom of the Western Conference, and they've gone strictly into rebuilding mode by playing their younger players more minutes of late. The biggest victim of the change has been shooting guard Shannon Brown. In his second year of turning in a career-high scoring average, he has been sent to the bench in favor of Wes Johnson over the last several games. On Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs, Brown was the only active Suns player not to play as the rotation reached 12 players. The shooting guard isn't pleased, but he's been there before. "I go from working my way into the starting lineup, single-handedly bringing us back to win games to not playing to my minutes going down to playing to starting to not starting," Brown told The Arizona Republic. "It's been a rollercoaster. I'm built for it, though."

Attention all Suns fans... Make sure all seats are in their upright positions and make sure all trays are up. Because your team has now about to land in Tank City...
