'Melo can't seem to keep his cool

It's not Melo; it's the entire team. Shumpert is so ineffective the game becomes very difficult so naturally they get frustrated... I don't know about this coach and his fascination with Shump. The guy is struggling mightily as most second year players do.

Even the best of guards coming out of college need a couple of years to establish themselves in the league. They first learn how to shoot and then how to guard in order to become a shooting guard but our coach doesn't see that...

So yeah.. keep playing Shump and we'll keep losing with frustration... A team is like a bench with five legs. When one leg is broken like Shumpert is the bench can't stand. I don't know what it'll take for Woody to put Shumpert on the bench where he belongs. .. yikes! Where's Larry Brown when you need him?

Kidd helps with ball distribution and defends well to start the game. So to me he's good to start so long as he doesn't play heavy minutes. Besides Pablo who is a bit too small and new to the NBA we don't have any other smart players at the shooting guard position.

The main reason we have a very low number of turnovers per game is because we have Kidd and Felton handling it most of the time. Shumpert has no value in the starting line up. He bricks so much teams come down hard on Melo with double teams and get away with it.

And you espect Melo to stay calm? He's getting hit hard, passing to brickers and losing games. Of course the game is no longer fun so he's bound to be frustrated and it's all Woody's fault for sticking with Shump even though it's clear its a dumb move... Dont' blame Melo.. blame Woody!

Yes, good point about Brewer. OKC got better in that trade and almost no one noticed.

Melo is over rated...period.

He will NEVER lead a team to a title.

I think the Knicks will finish as the #3 seed and lose to the Pacers in 6 games in Round 2 of the playoffs.

Heck, if the Celts finish as the 7, the Knicks could be gone in Round 1.

I agree.

Although, I don't think I can comment (cause apparently I don't watch enough Knick games). But it seems like he has always been susceptible to this kind of stuff and he has a short fuse. You have to have players on your team that will step in when the stars are getting pushed around. You always try and get into the other stars heads and off their games. If Melo (or the other Knicks) can't figure out a way to keep this from happening then it will continue.
