08:27 AM ET 02.26 | It wasn't all that long ago that John Tortorella said Rick Nash's health wasn't the business of reporters, and it seems not much has changed. [Nash] hasn't practiced or played in eight days due to an undisclosed injury. He skipped last week's Rangers road trip to Canada. But his absence from Monday morning's practice in Greenburgh after a scheduled off-day raised the warning level to code red that his injury could be a concussion and therefore a long-term issue. ... [Nash] not only wasn't on the ice in Greenburgh; he was nowhere in sight. "I haven't looked for him today at all," [Tortorella] said when asked whether Nash were around. "I'm focusing on the guys on the ice. I have a lot of guys on the ice."

But don't ask Torts about it, because he will shoot you in the fluckin face.

It's the reporters job to ask about the status of an injured player.
It's the coaches job to provide a response.
What breakdown am I missing?
Oh yeah, Tortz is a huge ****

Didn't read the whole article, so I will plead/admit ignorance, but when asked about someone's health and he gave that response? Ouch!

7-letter word beginning with "a" and meaning Torts. Yep, I think you got it!

All Torts had to do was provide a status report, like "he's day to day," instead of being so gosh darn confrontational.

Dying.

Ok, what a trade - Nash is out for the Rangers, and Anisimov and Dubinsky out for the Jackets. Guess the trade really had no bearing on either team.

He did respond. He responded in the way he chose to answer. The media doesn't have to like it.

Apparently, the recovery time after facing the Three Fingers of Fury is longer than expected.

Recovery time is proportional to the depth of insertion.

Unless Torts was trying to make him airtight.
