08:05 AM ET 02.26 | This time around, it was Darrelle Revis' representation left on an island. During a week in which team executives and agents huddled at seemingly every Starbucks, hotel lounge and restaurant in Indianapolis to talk shop at the NFL Scouting Combine, Jet brass avoided the Darrelle Revis camp, failing to meet with his representatives and raising the question of whether owner Woody Johnson wants to re-sign the All-Pro cornerback. The Daily News has learned that the Jets' contingent, which included GM John Idzik, Rex Ryan and Johnson himself, didn't meet or contact Revis' representatives during the combine, fueling speculation that Johnson simply doesn't want to pay the Pro Bowl cornerback.

Darrelle, consider yourself lucky. Get away from that gong show.

Make that former All-Pro cornerback. He has yet to prove he has recovered from his knee injury, and overall his performance has been declining even when healthy.

Revis' agents shouldn't be surprised. They bent the J-E-T-S over a barrel in the past when they had the leverage to do so. Now their client will have to sit tight through the last year of his current deal for a change. No one will give Revis any more money until he shows how well his knee holds up.

Debbie's right. Plus the clown wants a new contract every year, they might just be sick of him.

No one thinks as much of Darrelle Revis as Darrelle Revis.

I guess Revis doesn't like it when he can't blackmail the team into paying him more; or else...

This season will be an audition for the next contract on his next team. If he was smart, he'd leave any surliness at home and keep his yap in check.

The CBA the majority of them agreed to without bothering to read first. Too funny.

It is a Mexican standoff. They cannot afford to trade him, he is cheaper to keep. The cap hit would be too much. His agent should read the contract, very slowly , to his player.

I was going to post something in the other direction but your right. There really is no reason to talk to Darrelle's agents right now.

Jets management was giving Revis agents the brush off because they had to go look at the DB's at the combine. Revis your time in NY is going to be a living hell until you get out of there.
