01:39 PM ET 02.26 | The USC coaching staff is finally complete, as head coach Lane Kiffin has promoted Clay Helton to the position of offensive coordinator. Helton has spent the past three seasons as USC's quarterbacks coach, and replaces Kennedy Polamalu, who was fired on Feb. 10. The Trojans will try to rebound from a severely disappointing 2012 season, that saw them dip from preseason title contenders to the middle of the pack in the Pac-12. They'll attempt this with two new coordinators in tow, in Helton and new defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast. Kiffin has not stated whether Helton would be involved with the playcalling, which he has handled since coming back to USC.
