Pitt gets tough test vs. Florida State to start ACC season

02:24 PM ET 02.26 | The Pittsburgh Panthers won't get time to adjust to life in the ACC in 2013, as they will open their season with Florida State coming north to Heinz Field on Labor Day weekend for a nationally televised game. The Seminoles are defending ACC champions, and figure to have a good shot at repeating. The two teams haven't met since Pitt won 17-16 in 1983. The Panthers will end their season with another high profile, nationally televised game, this time in Miami against the Hurricanes on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
