Simon Gagne acquired by Flyers

05:25 PM ET 02.26 | The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired forward Simon Gagne from the Los Angeles Kings, according to a post on the Flyers official website. In exchange for Gagne, the Kings received a conditional fourth round draft pick. As of this time, the clubs have yet to identify what the conditions of the pick are. This will mark the second stint with the Flyers for Gagne. Originally chosen by the club with the No. 22 overall selection in the 1998 NHL Draft, Gagne is a fan favorite and a noted player in Flyers history. Gagne is entering the final year of a two-year contract, which carries a cap-hit of $3.5 million.
