05:28 PM ET 02.26 | Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman James Wisniewski is expected to miss an extended period of time due to a broken bone in his foot, according to head coach Todd Richards on Tuesday. Wisniewski sustained the injury during the second period of Sunday???s game against the Chicago Blackhawks. As of this time, no time-table has been released as to when he might return. Prior to suffering the injury, Wisniewski had tied the game at one with a goal in the first period. This marks the second major injury sustained by the blue liner in February, as he was diagnosed with a concussion earlier in the month.

He should consider changing his name to Chimera. He's starting to look like one.

Blue Jackets will miss his offense, with 9 points so far this season he's only 1 point off the team lead. I'm being sarcastic, this team has NO offense! Same as every year, feel bad for their fans.

"Prior to suffering the injury, Wisniewski had tied the game at one with a goal in the first period."

I think the big story here is how Wisniewski managed to score a goal despite Corey Crawford shutting out Columbus 1-0.
