07:51 AM ET 02.27 | Along with Nene, Wizards starting point guard John Wall was not available to reporters Tuesday after practice. Against the Raptors [on Monday], Wall played 24 minutes, his fewest in more than three weeks, and missed 8 of 11 shots but did have seven assists and only one turnover. Over the last five games, Wall is shooting 30 percent, but [Randy Wittman] said the shooting funk did not impact his reduced playing time Monday. A.J. Price, meantime, played 30 seconds less than Wall and had 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting with three assists and four turnovers. "I'm not on a 'this guy gets 35 minutes not matter what,'" Wittman said. "You go out and you perform, and you're doing the things that you're supposed to do for this team."

I think Washington is angling for another high draft pick so giving Wall major minutes does not go with company line right now. Rest easy Wall... bide your time and go to a better owner when your contract is up.

Give him time, and a team to play around.

QUOTE(#7):

At what point do we stop blaming the those around him and start expecting him to make those around him better? He's had a lot of different teammates now. Are they all really that bad or is he just not that good?

Even worse -- players tend to play better after they leave Washington ... it's been an ugly 5-6 years. (since the 'glory years' of Agent0, Jamison, Butler, ...)

Kyrie doesn't necessarily have a much superior support cast than what Wall has, and the difference in their growth is sky miles apart!!!!

Wall needs to start taking a close look at the man in the mirror!

If you can play your way out of a rotation on the Wiz, you suck.

QUOTE(#11):

Wall, like Tyreke Evans, is a square peg trying to be fit in a round hole. He is neither a 1 or a 2 guard but a mixture of both. Not a great passer, not a great shooter, but more of a slasher and finisher.

Yup..Westbrook is in this mold too, he just happens to play with a greater superstar to mask it
