08:02 AM ET 02.27 | All this took was a matter of seconds during practice on Tuesday. [The Blues] watched veteran forwards Andy McDonald and Alex Steen leave practice after being injured in the same drill Tuesday. McDonald's appeared to be more severe. He collided with teammate Vladimir Sobotka and went down, writhing in pain. He was helped off the ice to the bench, putting no weight on his left leg. After sitting briefly on the bench, he limped under his own power to the locker room. In the sequence just prior, Steen was injured during a battle scrum, which saw his helmet pop off. ... Well after the end of practice, Blues coach Ken Hitchcock met with the media but provided no update on the status of McDonald and Steen.

The puck is left at centre ice tied to PM's nether regions.
The team is split into 2 groups
The object is to make the other group grab the puck, as the try to skate away in horror

What was that about "conditioning", Hitch?

Hitch is drilling them too hard. Not enough time for that nonsense in a shortened season with no time to heal up in between games.

I think he wore them out early last season, they went from the team to beat to very beatable.

We're all hoping that's what happens to the Hawks as they keep busting their arses chasing meaningless records.

I can definitely see the Hawks flaming out early in the playoffs because of this "streak".
