11:07 AM ET 02.27 | UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson wants a superfight if he gets past Gilbert Melendez at UFC on FOX 7. "I want to fight in the biggest fights and against the best fighters," he said. "Georges St. Pierre is one of the greatest fighters in our sport's history. Of course I'd love to fight him, and I think the fans would want to see that fight too. It would be an honor to go up against such a great competitor, especially with a title on the line." UFC president Dana White quickly shot down the possible fight on UFC Tonight.

Henderson should've lost both Edgar fights...I don't see how he could beat GSP at all.

not sure if I quite see it that way and by the looks of edgar's face after the fights it would appear the right guy won

Because it would not bring in the money like a GSP-Silva fight...which is what he really wants.

It doesn't always work that way...have you never seen Edgar after his fights?

He took some damage but in both fights Henderson was given rounds that Edgar clearly won. I watched both fights, and don't care for one over the other. I'm not the only person that saw those fights that way, either.

It happens all the time...the judging universally sucks for MMA...ask Dana White.

I will say though...Edgar shouldn't have won the first fight with Maynard. Maynard should've been given 10-8 for the first round...and Edgar really only won 2 rounds.

It happens.
