Could Canucks trade Schneider, not Luongo?

12:44 PM ET 02.27 | The Vancouver Canucks could potentially look to trade Cory Schneider and not Roberto Luongo, according to speculation by Craig Custance. With the asking price for Luongo likely too high for most teams, and Schneider holding more value overall, the Canucks could end up holding onto the goaltender who wanted out so badly less than a year ago. This season Luongo has been much stronger in net than Schneider, who struggled to open the season after earning the full-time starter's position.

they will maybe get more for Cory, but Luongo will almost certainly never win A Cup for them

I don't know about this article but it seems FN traded two threads for these two new ones. We've lost the two that were after the Ducks goalie story.
Nobody expects…

You can file this under a snowballs chance in hell. In the end it may be that neither is a good fit for Vancouver but you can always yoyo Cory along even as a backup, the Luongo story played out already. The only people that don't realize that is the team and Luongo.

I can only hope they do that.
Not that either will ever lead them to the promised land.
But you just know that when Robooby does fail, and he wil, it will be epic!

Saw it the other night when they played the Wings. It was beautiful. Booby Lou looked completely lost. Regular ol slapshot by a rookie completely handcuffed him. And from his Tweets after, we can see why he was so insistent that Thomas pump his tires...Bobby can't even pump his own tires!!!
