Ok got to pace myself here since this will be my first comment about 1 of the 2 teams I feel are the most vile, dog poo, cry cause I want to, Satans best friends who may or may not actually be the cause of global warming, I offer the following on Briere. Over the final 2 years of his contract he is owed 3M and 2M which by any measure is a great great price for what he brings. But his 6.5M cap hit those 2 years is the 22Ton Gorilla in the room, would a team out there take him?? Yes, and look it could even be a team like my Caps (My kids would still be forbidden from saying his name in the house) but more than likely this is just not goingto happen becuase I imagine the asking price would be way way over the top. I am guessing in the 1st rounder 2 prospects and a 3rd liner at the least.

I would imagine they are the cause of anything and everything else unholy and vile.

If a trade looks possible Danny, ask Phantom to intercede for you. A more loyal, devoted Flyer fan I don't know. And yes, he does have some good qualities too!

I stated in another post that I have followed reading most of the past 3 years and that includes you Pensfan (I actually lived in the "Burgh" for 6 months) but over the past 10 years of my hockey life there are a list of fans that I have just not gotten along with: 1. Flyers 2. Pitt 3. Buffalo which yes all teams have those fans that just make you ill but for some reason those 3 do it for me, but hey being a diehard Caps fan I must say Crosby probably has the best eye hands cord in the game and there are a few of my beloved Caps I would trade for Tyler Kennedy I like his game (looking at you Fehr) but i look forward to lively banter with those I ahve come to respect through thier post such as yourself. As far as Briere goes, his Cap hit is stil 6.5M which makes him worse than untouchable in my eyes :)

Hartnell and Meszaros out for most of the season and no one as good as Jagr in terms of playmaking for Giroux.

They are hanging around and only 7 points from the top of the division, so with any luck injured players come back and the team starts to click at the right time.
