01:14 PM ET 02.27 | Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins came to the Philadelphia Eagles as part of the so called "Dream Team" in 2011, with expectations through the roof. Jenkins was just one high-profile player that was acquired before that season, with a few of the others being cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha, quarterback Vince Young and defensive end Jason Babin. Speaking on 97.5 FM, The Fanatic in Philadelphia, the recently released Jenkins talked about just how tough it was for him over the past couple of seasons. "It was rough. It was definitely a couple of the hardest years I've had in my career. Just so much expectations coming into a team that had such a great tradition and bringing in so many good players and people who they thought or were expected to perform and do well, and we weren't able to accomplish anything. So it was definitely a disappointing two years."

I think the Eagles fans would agree with you. And I'm sure they are ready and willing to do everything in their power to assist you in leaving the greater Philadelphia area.

QUOTE(#2):

Jenkins was one of the best players on the Eagles defense the past two years. His age and salary made him expendable.

That speaks volumes considering the people that were signed and playing there such as Babin and Asomugha.

Philly is best off blowing up the D and starting over from scratch.

That's philly yo. A disapointment.

I would think that anyone associated with the Eagles would be disappointed.
