01:20 PM ET 02.27 | The Cleveland Browns suffered through another miserable campaign in 2012, but at least can see the light at the end of the tunnel in certain spots. One of those positions may very well be running back thanks to their first pick last season with the No. 3 overall pick, Trent Richardson. On Tuesday, Richardson told Steve Wyche of NFL Network that he has plenty more to offer than we saw his rookie season, giving himself a C+ grade, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Richardson didn't storm onto the scene as some expected, but he showed all the skills that should prove to make him elite. In 2012, Richardson rushed for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns while catching 51 passes. With Norv Turner penciled in as the new offensive coordinator, Cleveland fans can expect to see more passes to Richardson in the flat and runs to the outside.

Well he did not play all 16 games so your math is irrelevant. Furthermore, it only takes 62.5 yards per game to become a 1,000 rusher which is still the benchmark of a good season which MOST NFL backs do not achieve.
You should call the NFL and declare the new standards of good season to be a minimum of 1,500 yards per season. I'm sure everyone will value your opinon.

I'd be more concerned with the 3.6 YPC
Although the 1000 yards benchmark has been around since the NFL played only 14 games per season. So it probably should be updated.
And I believe more runningbacks hit the 1000 yard mark than you might think. 16 of the league's starting backs (or half) hit 1000 yards last year; which is around average for the present-day NFL. Actually if you go back to 2006, there were 23 runningbacks who reached the number. It's really not that impressive. It should be considered more of a minimum requirement for keeping your job IMO.

I'd be more concerned with it too had he not played most of the year with broken ribs and a knee that was scoped in August.
Also, Pat's offense didn't focus on T-Rich. So when you see 3rd and short and you have a back that can carry a pile multiple yards being taken off the field, it shows that they didn't use him wisely.

"Trent Richardson gives himself C+ grade for rookie year"
What does he give himself for the pose in that photo? He looks like an idiot. I give him an "F" only because you can't hand out a "Z" to an NFL player (they can't get that far in the alphabet).
