03:38 PM ET 02.27 | The San Francisco 49ers traded quarterback Alex Smith to the Kansas City Chiefs for two second-round picks on Tuesday and there is immediately some belief that they could be positioning themselves for a run at one of the league's top stars that is on the trading block. San Francisco now holds the 31st and 34th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and both of those picks could be packaged together in a deal that will catch the Jets' attention. New York cannot franchise tag Revis after next season when his contract is up, so they are looking to get something in return for their star. Two premium draft picks is a good place to start trade talks if they haven't already begun Another interesting trade the 49ers could pursue is making a run at Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin.

ps Nothing about the 31st pick seems appealing. If anyone with half a brain is running the Jets, they'll want an earlier pick in the 1st round and a 2nd, plus maybe some future picks.
