03:43 PM ET 02.27 | The trade winds are swirling as the NHL gets close to the halfway mark of the lockout-shortened 2013 season. The latest rumour making rounds? A possible Danny Briere trade. The St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins have asked about the 35-year-old's availability. The big question has nothing to do with the teams interested in acquiring Briere, it's whether or not Briere wants to go. The 16-year veteran has a full No-Trade Clause in his current contract with the Flyers, and from the sound of things, he isn't all that interested in packing up and shipping out.

So this was a pointless article, thanks for the birdcage liner.

One "copy and paste" is manageable. More than that is hard to take.

I guess Briere, at the very least, should take inquiries about his availability as a complement.

It saddens me that my children will never have any effin clue of what this means.

Boston isn't out of the question - like I said yesterday, sounds like he simply doesn't want to move his family more than anything else. St. Louis is out of the question. A NE division team is most likely.

Perhaps not in North America, most of the Commonwealth still uses newspapers... until the oldies fall out... then maybe it'll change....

It could be considered complimentary, he is by all rights a good, if not great, player; but from what I gather, this was a non-starter before it got to the gates...
