07:36 PM ET 02.27 | In the semi-brawl that took place, the NBA came down hard with suspensions and fines to both teams. While Pacers guard Lance Stephenson didn't get suspended, he did however receive a fine of $35,000. As the backup point guard for the Indiana Pacers, Stephenson has a salary of just $870,000. A fine like this would hurt his wallet greatly and result in 4 percent of his pre-tax savings. Roy Hibbert saw that his teammate had no reason to be in the fight at all but saw that Stephenson's intentions resulted in being a good friend. Hibbert therefore wants to return the favor and has offered to pay for Stephenson's fine, Mike Wells of The Indianapolis Star writes. Stephenson intervened in the shoving match between Hibbert and David Lee.
