08:10 AM ET 02.28 | The Dodgers' rotation picture may have cleared slightly, though it requires some reading between the lines of what Don Mattingly said Wednesday. [Mattingly] gave his thoughts on Aaron Harang, who is one of three veteran pitchers on the outside for a rotation spot. The consensus is that two of the three -- among Harang, Ted Lilly and Chris Capuano -- would head to the bullpen and the other would probably be traded. "Aaron Harang doesn't seem like the kind of guy that pitches out of the 'pen," Mattingly told reporters. ... Mattingly's statement Wednesday doesn't mean Harang's only options are the rotation or another team, though. It's not even March and a lot can happen between now and the regular season.

Does it matter? The Dodgers are still a 4th best team in a 5 team division.

if the dodgers use the magic approach, and have some type of creativity in their team's lineup? the dodgers should be able to use every arm in any possible way,,as long the veterans do have productivity year nothing bad should be expected at the end!!!

wiseup: Between Capauano,Harang, and Lilly All 3 had similar numbers Harang and Capauano Era was 3.61 and 3.63 respectively Lilly' s was slightly higher. Harang and Capauano are 34 Lilly is 36. Should Dodgers decide to trade one or more of the three, there would be teams who would be interested. mostly Brewers and Pirates in NL.
