Benching doesn't sit well with Wings d-man

08:19 AM ET 02.28 | As the Detroit blue line gains healthy bodies, someone had to be the odd man out after Brendan Smith and Kyle Quincey returned Wednesday. That has left Ian White and Kent Huskins out in the cold, something that doesn't sit well with White, who isn't used to being a healthy scratch. "I am taken aback," White said after today's morning skate. "I didn't see this coming. I feel like I'm playing the same way I've played the last seven years. I work as hard as I can every night." ... White said that, from what coach Mike Babcock told him, he has to "focus on going back and getting pucks and making sure that I get them out the first try." White's strength are his puckhandling and passing more than his play in his own zone.

You couldnt stick with TOR, and you wonder why DET would bench you?

Detroit seems to be doing pretty alright, and the last man manager in hockey i'm going to question is Babcock. Shut your mouth and take it like a Komisarek.

I would say it sound moisturizing now Boucher could easily be mistaken for a female hygiene product

Because of all those injuries early on, the Wings have 9 capable defensemen on the roster. There is going to be a healthy scratch rotation when there's a surplus of healthy defensemen. White needs to keep his mouth shut and willingly take his turn if he wants to see the ice again.

If Babcock tells you to step it up, step it up. Quit complaining.

Unlike Komi I think Ian runs out of money to count by the third period.

Also, in the rare occurance Komi does run out, he can always nudge Liles for a lil extra green. He's sitting right next to him!

He said he's been playing that way for the last 7 years. And there we have the problem.
