05:11 PM ET 02.28 | Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler has been playing in several games with a broken foot. On Wednesday, it was reported that he had broken the foot against the Dallas Stars on Feb. 21. However, it was reported on Thursday that he acutally broke his foot while blocking a shot six days earlier against the Stars in his first game back from shoulder and wrist surgeries on Feb. 15. Now Kesler will be expected to miss 4-6 weeks while recovering from the injury. With him out for an extended period of time, the Canucks have recalled Andrew Ebbett from the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves.

Best place to get a Canucks autograph is to hang out by the diving board.

He didn't block a shot. He got in the way of the puck.

Canucks were actually playing better before Kesler returned from his last injury 6 games ago, same might happen again. If it does one thing is for sure, Hank ain't gonna like that!

Not to come down to hard on Ryan but since the Olympics he has not been the same player. During the games I saw a player who I thought would be a 30+ goal scorer (which he did in 2011 with 40) but he has turned out IMO to be a just better than average player and not the star Vancouver thought it was getting. Now maybe its not all Ryan's fault but he has 4 more years to show it.
