12:32 PM ET 03.01 | Former Kansas head football coach Mark Mangino is back on the sideline, this time as a member of the Youngstown State staff. Mangino has been out of coaching since he resigned from his position with the Jayhawks in 2009, after eight years in Lawrence. His highlight at the school was the 2007 season, in which Kansas compiled a 12-1 record, and won the Orange Bowl, the only BCS appearance in Jayhawks history. Mangino was previously an assistant at Youngstown State under then-head coach Jim Tressel from 1985-87.

I figured he would pop up again somewhere. I think he'll have a shot as a head coach one more time.
