12:50 PM ET 03.01 | A former Gus Malzahn assistant at Arkansas State said Thursday that the Red Wolves' offense will be faster than Auburn's in 2013. ASU co-offensive coordinator/running backs coach Eliah Drinkwitz was talking about Malzahn during a radio appearance when he said "I love Coach Malzahn. I love everything about that man. I love him as a person, but he's not the only coach that goes fast. He doesn't have the corner on the market. He does not have the patent. They went pretty fast in '11 (under Freeze); we went fast in '12 (under Malzahn); we're going to go faster '13." Malzahn is known for his hurry-up, no-huddle offense, so that kind of comment may get under his skin.

Eliah avers that the Red Wolves will be faster in 2013 - faster than they were under Malzahn's hurry-up offense in 2012. Either the writer or the blurb editor for FN used "ASU" to refer to Arkansas State University, flaunting the common equation of "ASU" to Arizona State University. Lazy copy is how I characterize it.

Yeah, I figured it was just "Lazy copy". I was just joking about the ASU part, as I read article and knew they were referring to Arkansas State and was just being sarcastic as usual.
