Doug Collins 'thought for sure' Derrick Rose would return Thursday

05:29 PM ET 03.01 | Although the Bulls have been quiet about Derrick Rose's potential return date, 76ers head coach Doug Collins "thought for sure" the point guard was going to play Thursday against his team. While his prediction may have been off, Rose reportedly dunked four times during warmups so it seems he's not having any issues jumping off both legs. With that in mind, it seems pretty likely that Rose will be back sometime in the Bulls' final 24 games even if they're not too keen on admitting it.

If he has just started dunking off two legs, how can anyone assume he's anywhere near ready to play at a level high enough to contribute.

Doug has always been a coach that cared too much and coached too little. Rather see him fired now so he can be back on TNT before the playoffs.
